MCC Volleyball Loses Back to Back Matches

Monday, September 5 - Pioneers 1... Dickinson State JV 3 (23-25, 24-26, 25-22, 21-25)

A tightly contest match went the way of Dickinson State JV on Labor Day Monday as the Pioneers 13 service errors proved to be the deciding factor in a 4-game loss to the Bluehawks. Every game was hotly contested and came down to unforced errors by MCC. Eva Boone (Billings, MT) had 4 services aces and 21 digs while Josee Krumm (Worden, MT) knocked down 11 kills to lead the way offensively for MCC. Madi Ramsey (Billings, MT) had 22 assists and Trynadee Goldsberry (Laurel, MT) added 21 assists. Macy Limberhand (Worden, MT), Lyndsey Kale (Shepherd, MT), and Madi Ramsey added 9 kills. Krumm, Limberhand, and Hannah Kingham (Roundup, MT) all had 3 blocks in the match. 

Tuesday, September 6 - Pioneers 1... #16 Bismarck State 3 (25-22, 11-25, 11-25, 10-25)

The MCC Pioneers came out swinging on Tuesday night and gave the 16th ranked Bismarck State Mystics a scare by taking the 1st set, but the 11-1 and MonDak Conference leading Mystics quickly turned the tide to win the next 3 games and take the match. The Pioneers were clicking on all cylinders and had control of game 1 from start to finish. 

MCC got a team leading 7 kills from Madi Ramsey (Billings, MT) and 6 each from Josee Krum (Worden, MT) and Lyndsey Kale (Shepherd, MT). Trynadee Goldsberry (Laurel, MT) had 13 assists in the match with Ramsey adding 8. Skyler Higgs (Livingston, MT) served up 4 aces. Krum had a team leading 3 blocks and Eva Boone (Billings, MT) had 18 digs. 

The Pioneers will host the Carroll College JV on Saturday at 3:00 PM MST.
