Pioneer Volleyball Still Working For 1st Win

Pioneers 0... Northwest College 3 (19-25, 12-25, 9-25) - Friday, September 9 in Powell, WY - Match 1

The Pioneers hung around in game 1 on Friday but games 2 & 3 ended in quick fashion. Josee Krum (Worden, MT) served up 4 aces, 3 kills, and 9 digs in the match to lead the way in those categories. Trynadee Goldsberry (Laurel, MT) had 6 assists. No Pioneer had more than one block in the match. 

Pioneers 0... Northwest College 3 - Friday, September 9 (20-25, 19-25, 7-25) - in Powell, WY - Match 2

Not much went the way of the Pioneers in Match #2 on Friday in Powell as the NJCAA D1 Trappers made short work of MCC. Madi Ramsey (Billings, MT) had 11 digs, 5 kills, and 2 aces in the match. Trynadee Goldsberry led the way with 10 assists. No Pioneer had more than a blcok in the match. 

Pioneers 0... Carroll JV 3 (19-25, 14-25, 13-25) - Saturday, September 10 in Miles City

Following 2 losses on Friday in Powell, the Pioneers returned home for another non-conference matchup against the Carroll College JV. Carroll got off to a hot start leading 8-0 in game 1 before the Pioneers rallied to tie it at 14-14. Carroll then scored the next 3 points and never looked back cruising to a 3-0 victory to keep the Pioneers winless on the 2022 season. 

Leading the way for the Pioneers offensively was Madi Ramsey (Billings, MT) with 6 kills, 4 assists, and 6 digs. Josee Krum (Worden, MT) added 4 kills, 13 digs, and an ace. Skyler Higgs (Livingston, MT) had 17 digs and an ace. Trynadee Goldsberry (Laurel, MT) had 8 assists. 

The Pioneer hit the road for more MonDak Conference action on Tuesday in Bottineau and Wednesday in Williston. Both matches will start at 6:00 PM MST.
