Pioneers 0... Minnesota State Community & Technical College 3 (18-25, 16-25, 13-25)

Minnesota State Community and Technical College Spartans, the 2022 NJCAA DIII 3rd Place finisher, defeated the MCC Pioneers in a 3-game sweep on Friday night in Bismarck, ND. The Spartans took control early and kept control for the evening in a 18-25, 16-25, 13-25 victory at the Bismarck State Armory. 

The Pioneers (0-17, 0-6 MonDak) were led in the match by Josee Krum (Worden, MT) with 9 kills, 5 digs, and a block. Skylar Higgs (Livingston, MT) had 11 digs and Trynadee Goldsberry (Laurel, MT) had 20 assists and 5 digs. Macy Limberhand (Worden, MT) had 6 digs and 3 hills. Hannah Kingham (Roundup, MT) had 2 blocks defensively, 4 kills, and an ace. The Pioneers also got an ace apiece from Abrianna Nielson (Glasgow, MT) and Eva Boone (Billings, MT).

MCC will head to Wahpeton, ND for a match with NDSCS on Tuesday and Devils Lake, ND on Wednesday for another MonDak Conference match against Lake Region State. Both matches will start at 6:00 PM MST.
