Pioneers 1... NDSCS 3 (25-20, 17-25, 17-25, 24-26)

MCC hit Wahpeton, ND for a matchup with the 2nd place team in the MonDak Conference on Tuesday night and got off to a hot start. The Pioneers quickly won the 1st game but then succumbed to the Wildcats 1-3 after NDSCS gathered momentum in game 2. 

Zeason Schaffer (Broadus, MT) tallied 21 kills and was set up with 38 assists by Bailey Nowicki (Miles City, MT). Mia Mader picked up the only ace of the match for the Pioneers. Bree Swanson (Chinook, MT) had 20 digs and Cameron Blevins (Shelby, MT) added 19 digs. Kodiann Lynn (Simms, MT) had 3 blocks to lead the defense at the net. 

MCC is 4-4 in MonDak Conference play and 9-14 overall. The Pioneers are at Lake Region State College on Wednesday night at 6:00 PM MST.
