Pioneers 0... Bismarck State 3 (19-25, 16-25, 25-27)

The MCC Pioneers ended their MonDak Conference season and also an 8-game winning streak as league leading Bismarck State defeated MCC 3-0 on Wednesday night in Bismarck. 

MCC couldn't get in sync on the green floor of the Mystic gym. Bismarck State earned the #1 seed overall (West #1) and host the Region XIII playoffs with the win and ties NDSCS (East #1) for the MonDak Conference title. BSC earned the tiebreaker with NDSCS.

The Pioneers finished 3rd in the MonDak and will take the West #2 seed in to the Region XIII playoffs. MCC will take on the winner of Dakota County Tech/Gogebic College on November 2 at 10:00 AM MDT in Bismarck. 

Statistically for the Pioneers against the Mystics, Bree Swanson (Chinook, MT) had 16 digs and Hattie Bumgarner (Belt, MT) registered 3 blocks. Offensively, Zeason Schaffer (Broadus, MT) had 14 kills and Bailey Nowicki (Miles City, MT) had 27 assists. Nowicki, Swanson, and Brylee Lowell (Columbus, MT) each had one service ace. 

The Pioneers will conclude their regular season schedule on Tuesday, Oct. 22 against Rocky Mountain College JV for Sophomore Night at the MCC Centra. 1st serve is slated for 7:00 PM MDT.
